The contents of the Websites, including text, publications, newsletters, minutes of meetings, meeting agendas, research findings, views, graphics, images, HTML code, Java code, as well as the design, selection and arrangement of information on the Websites, belong to Engineers Canada and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use of these materials may violate copyright, trade-mark, patent and other laws.

You agree to view and download materials from the Websites only for your personal, non-commercial use. The contents of the Websites may not be reproduced, displayed, distributed, or used in any other manner for a public or commercial purpose, except by Engineers Canada. Applicable Laws

The Websites are administered by Engineers Canada from its offices in Ottawa, Ontario. The Websites can be accessed from all provinces and territories of Canada, as well as from other countries around the world.  As each of these jurisdictions has laws that may differ from those of the Province of Ontario, all matters relating to access to, or use of, the Websites or any website linked to the Websites, shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.

Official Languages Policy

Engineers Canada strives to provide all information contained in the Websites in both of Canada's official languages. In some instances, however, various publications and documents may only be available in English or in French. In Engineers Canada's French-language websites, the masculine form is used for the sake of brevity.

To work as a professional engineer in one of Canada's provinces or territories, you must receive a licence from that province or territory's engineering association.
